We received Recognition for Growth in 2026 because our students showed evidence of expected or greater than expected growth according to the Terra Nova results. Students in grade 2-7 took the Terra Nova standardized test in March. Results were shared with parents in May.
Beginning this academic year, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office of Catholic Education will no longer be administering Terra Nova Assessments. All schools will be using the i-Ready Diagnostic test instead. This assessment will be given to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. It is an untimed adaptive assessment taken on iPads or Chromebooks to measure a student’s math and reading skills. The test is adaptive, meaning that it automatically gets easier or harder depending on how individual students answer the questions. This test will be taken three times a year to help teachers monitor student progress and understanding.
